We have been raising Saanens for Several years here on Bear
Mountain, and our "girls" seem to like it just fine!
We relocated here when we felt we needed a change of pace from
our "city " lives, and we have never looked back!
We enjoy the crisp mornings on the milking porch,
the clean air, and most of all the beauty of the Saanen
breed against the backdrop of the sage and pine trees.
We are a family herd, we make our goat raising a true
family affair. We have truly enjoyed all aspects of this
wonderful breed. They are gentle giants who truly love to milk
and produce for us. This makes them the perfect breed for
children or anyone who wants a wonderful animal who truly pulls their own
